The American Association for Dental Research (AADR), headquartered in Alexandria, Va., is a non-profit organization with more than 4,000 members in the United States. Its mission is: (1) to advance research and increase knowledge for the improvement of oral health; (2) to support and represent the oral health research community; and (3) to facilitate the communication and application of research findings. The AADR is the largest Division of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR).
The AADR provides an invaluable service to all dental, oral and craniofacial researchers, including those at dental schools, other health professional schools, industry institutions, as well as in the biotech sector. As the only non-profit association of its kind, we strive to bring our members the latest news updates, research reports, educational programs, and networking opportunities for the dental research community. AADR member dues are $200 (inclusive of IADR dues). Student dues are $50. Some AADR Sections may also charge dues, please refer to the membership application for more information.
You may join online, or if you prefer to pay by check, print the form and send it with payment via fax or mail. Upon receipt and processing of your application, the IADR will send you an ID card, receipt and welcome package. Please allow 2-3 weeks for processing and delivery.
When is the next AADR Annual Meeting & Exhibition?
The 40th Annual Meeting of the AADR will be held in conjunction with the 89th General Session & Exhibition of the IADR and the 34th Annual Meeting of the CADR, March 16-19, in San Diego, California. For more information, visit the IADR General Session page in August 2010.

The Journal of Dental Research (JDR) is the flagship journal of the IADR and the American Association of Dental Research (AADR), the largest Division of the IADR. How can I get my ID number?
New members receive ID cards upon joining, and renewing members are sent an updated card upon paying dues each year. If you have lost your ID number, please contact the Office at research@aadronline.org to receive your number.
